Membership: criteria, benefits, involvement
What it takes to join, what you get, and what involvement looks like.

Who joins
Entrepreneurs who built and often exited tech companies, senior technology executives, and experienced professionals ready to invest their own capital in early-stage tech. What matters is capital you can afford to risk, judgment you've earned, and willingness to contribute, not just to write checks.
What you get
- Deal flow: hundreds of startups screened every year, the strongest reaching pitch events.
- Syndication: invest alongside members who know the sector, splitting tickets and diligence.
- Angel education: structured sessions on evaluation, term sheets, portfolio strategy.
- Community: 140+ peers, member meetings, and European connections through EBAN and the Defence Angels European Network.
What's expected
Active membership: showing up to member meetings and pitch events, engaging with deal flow, and contributing expertise to the startups and to fellow members. Every member invests individually; there is no fund and no obligation to invest in any particular deal.
