Subprocessors list

Introduction
This Subprocessors List identifies the third-party service providers ("subprocessors") that TechAngels engages to process personal data on our behalf in connection with our investment facilitation services. It is maintained in accordance with our commitment to transparency under applicable data protection law. For more about how we process personal data, see the Privacy Policyand Terms of Service.
TechAngels acts as a data controller for account and billing information, and as a data processor for investment-related information submitted through our platform.
Current subprocessors
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) — website hosting and content delivery for techangels.ro (Cloudflare Pages), processor. Transfers to the United States are safeguarded under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Google Cloud EMEA Limited (Ireland) — hosting and storage, processor.
- Dealum OÜ (Estonia) — startup application platform, processor. Personal data from the startup application process is shared with Dealum, which provides the application platform.
- Jotform Inc. (USA) — membership application form, processor.
- Zoom Communications Inc. (USA) — pitch meetings, processor. If selected to attend a pitch, your personal data is shared with Zoom; adequacy for the transfer is ensured by Zoom's adherence to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Your browsing data is transmitted to the partners described in the cookie policy.
Data protection measures
All subprocessors are carefully selected and must meet our standards:
- Processing agreements: we maintain appropriate data processing agreements with all subprocessors that handle personal data.
- Security standards: subprocessors must implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures.
- Compliance: all subprocessors must comply with applicable data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
- International transfers: for subprocessors outside the EU/EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards — Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, certification schemes and additional security measures where applicable.
Notification of changes
We update this list as our needs evolve: at least 30 days' advance notice of additions or material changes, communicated by email to registered users and by updating this page, which always reflects the current subprocessors and the most recent effective date.
Your rights regarding subprocessors
You have the right to know which subprocessors process your data, to exercise your data subject rights (access, rectification, deletion and the rest) for data they process, to raise concerns about their data handling, and in some cases to contact them directly.
